ILIAS Ops Air is an integrated system specifically designed for military flight operations, to include; tasking, planning, scheduling and reporting as well as crew qualifications and currency management. Developed together with operational planners and schedulers, ILIAS Ops Air contains highly graphical and dynamic user interfaces engineered to reflect well-known planning boards, showing accurate and real-time information.
ILIAS Ops Air supports the operational planning process from setting long term requirements, planning, scheduling and execution to debriefing and reporting. The long term plan, based on operational commitments and training requirements, is the foundation of the process. It provides guidance for the units who will receive additional tasking and plan missions, flights and events in the short-term planner.
The following tasks are completed automatically:
Qualified personnel and suitable assets can be scheduled while conflicts are identified. It simultaneously schedules information or any changes and communicates to personnel and duty officers.
After mission execution, debrief data is correlated with crew currency and qualifications, course progress and aircraft maintenance support
Aside from supporting and optimizing the operational planning process, ILIAS Ops Air will allow real-time reporting on the status of assets and provide a set of boards that give an overview of all unit and aircraft activities.
The Crew Scheduler board gives an insight into all unit activities.
When the user selects a flight, he can see the list of seats available on that flight. When a seat is selected, the list of crew qualified to occupy that seat is displayed along with their linked activities. It is also possible to create, update and delete planning events.
The Aircraft Scheduler board gives insight to all the aircraft activities and offers the ability to assign an aircraft to a flight selected by the user.
Status boards and Gantt Charts provide comprehensive visual overviews of the fleet. Scheduled activities are displayed at a glance with intuitive color-coding to differentiate ownership, activity type and operational status.
A flight can be easily scheduled with an aircraft that fits its requirements using the drag and drop feature. Most importantly, the planning boards are supported by a contextual menu to insure clear and flexible navigation.
