ILIAS Federal Solutions Inc. welcomes Ian Knight as their newly appointed CEO. Knight brings over two decades of expertise in F-16 and F-35 fighter operations, sustainment and compliance, positioning him perfectly to steer and expand the company’s footprint in the U.S. market.

Scott played a pivotal role in smoothly integrating IFED, growing the expertise of local people with military backgrounds and ensuring alignment with business culture, regulatory stipulations, and security clearances. Knight will take it from here, to grow the ILIAS business fostering deeper ties with our customers and partners. Scott will continue to support IFED as a senior advisor.

My goal is to further strengthen our relationships in the U.S. and to continue to bring new logistics and operational capability to the war fighter and the Defense industry.”
Ian knight is a distinguished graduate in pilot training and top graduate of the RNLAF Weapon School. In 2012, he was selected as one of the first four RNLAF F-35 pilots, tasked to execute F-35 operational test together with partners from the U.S. Services, UK and Australia. Ian commanded both the test squadron at Edwards AFB and the first operational F-35 squadron at Leeuwarden Air Base.
Knight’s journey with ILIAS Solutions began in 2020, where he made significant strides in reinforcing the ILIAS Fleet Management Solution and deploying this to the first F-35 customer, the Royal Australian Air Force. As Business Development Manager and Account Manager for our partner Lockheed Martin, Knight’s visionary approach has significantly bolstered both the customers and partner base.
Ian has a bachelors degree in applied physics from the Delft University of Technology, a Master’s degree in Military Operational Art & Science from USAF Air University and completed executive training in logistics at MIT.
